- Welcome to my blog! I'm a wildlife artist living in Wilmington, NC. I focus mainly on the animals and scenery in the area in which I live, the coastal south. I am most inspired to paint the subjects that I have the closest connection to-what I see personally. My original paintings are all for sale and also available as giclee prints. Prints are available in two forms-stretched canvas giclees and paper giclees mounted on foamboard. The stretched canvas option is the closest experience to owning the original painting; it is framed just like a real painting without glass. The paper giclee mounted on foamboard is ready to frame. Simply insert into a ready-made frame-no need to take to a framing shop. All paintings are copyrighted and may not be reproduced or used without permission.
I love owls. You've apparently seen my shots of the Barred Owls at Maymont. This painting is awesome!

Hi Jay, thanks for the comment. This is the third time I've tried to reply, I think there's a bug in the software! I love Barred Owls too. I plan to do some more owl paintings.
